The North Greenville Trailblazers were eliminated from the Conference Carolinas Tournament with a 79-74 loss to the Valkyries of Converse College in Wilson, North Carolina. After facing an eight point deficit going into halftime, NGU recovered to outscore Converse in the second half. North Greenville was able to cut the lead down to a single possession multiple times throughout the second half, getting within two points after a Cadarrius Sowell three pointer with fourteen second remaining. However, free throws allowed Converse to pull back ahead, going on to win by five. NGU didn't go down without a fight to end the season, ending the game with thirty-four points in the paint, ten more then Converse. The Trailblazers also led by one with eleven second chance points and sixteen fast break points.
With the loss, the 2024-25 season comes to a close for North Greenville, finishing with a 10-20 overall record and a 6-14 record in conference play.
CaDarrius Sowell finished his season with a twenty-one point performance as well as six rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
Michael Wilson Jr. wrapped up his freshman campaign with seventeen points and four rebounds.
Savion Brown posted fifteen points, four rebounds, and an assist.Â
