The North Greenville Trailblazers improved their conference record to 9-8 with a sweep of the Lees-McRae Bobcats in Banner Elk, North Carolina. All three set told similar stories, with NGU taking set one and set two with a score of 25-21 while narrowly going on to take the third set as well with a score of 25-22. Although North Greenville trailed the evening in points, service aces, and blocks, they did lead in attack percentage, kills, assists, and digs.
Samantha Ball put together a double-double, finishing with 14 kills and 15 digs in addition to a solo block and an assist.
Anna Fiddelke recorded 8 kills and 3 block assists.
Madison Sherman provided 11 assists, 10 digs, and 2 service aces.
North Greenville will face the Hawks of Shorter University on Wednesday, November 5th at Hayes Gymnasium.
