Former Head Football Coach Jeff Farrington to be Honored November 1st

Tigerville, SC- Former North Greenville University Trailblazer head football coach, Jeff Farrington, will be recognized during the November 1st game versus Ferrum at 12pm.  This game will also be North Greenville's Military Appreciation game, which was so important to Coach Farrington. 
 
NGU would like to encourage all former players, faculty and staff, and community members to come back and help recognize the legacy that Coach Farrington left.  To thank Farrington for all he has invested in NGU Athletics and Trailblazer football, there will be two opportunities to give back on his behalf.

Additionally, there will be various stations set up around Younts Stadium for a canned food drive, also for Greer Community Ministries. 
 
Farrington, who is from Greer, assumed the position of head coach of NGU football in 2013. He led the then Crusaders to the Victory Bowl Championship in 2014 and to the first round of the NCAA Playoffs in 2016. Prior to his time at NGU, Farrington held positions at Virgina Military Institute, Furman University, Mercer University, The Citadel, East Carolina University, West Georgia College, East Tennessee State University, Presbyterian College, Lenior-Rhyne University, and Florida State University.
