Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive this evening at Hayes Gymnasium with a final score of 3-0. NGU had a lead in the first two sets, but ultimately were unable to hold onto it, dropping set one with a score of 26-24 and set two with a score of 25-18. Mount Olive pulled away early on in set three, leading by as much as double digits. The Trailblazers fought to pull back within single digits, but the comeback would stop there as UMO would hang on to win the set 25-19. North Greenville finished with an attack percentage of just .063 and trailed in kills, aces, blocks, assists, and digs.
Samantha Ball posted 9 kills and 17 digs as well as a block assist.
Anna Fiddelke recorded 5 kills, 2 digs, and 2 solo blocks.
Madison Sherman provided 13 assists and 8 digs.
North Greenville will return to action on Tuesday, October 14th to take on the Lander Bearcats at Hayes Gymnasium.
