The North Greenville Traiblazers scored a late second half goal to go over the Valkyries of Converse University with a final score of 1-0 earlier this evening in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Finishing with a nearly even shot count, Converse slightly led in total shots 16-14 and led 6-5 in shots on goal. After a scoreless first half, the two teams pulled within six minutes of a draw. Nicholas Vital put an end to that with a goal to put NGU up on top with an assist by
Noham Hamidi. The Trailblazer defense kept Converse off the board with the help of six saves including a team save. The win improves North Greenville's overall record to 6-2-0 with a 3-2-0 record in conference play.
Nicholas Vital finished with a goal as well as 3 shots.
Vinicius Silva also recorded 3 shots with 2 on goal.
