Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College with a final score of 67-54 this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. After falling behind by seventeen points going into halftime, NGU outscored the Mountain Lions by four in the second half, but it would not be enough as Young Harris was able to hang on by a comfortable margin for the win. The Trailblazers finished the day with a .323 field goal percentage, and struggled from three-point range with just four shots made out of twenty-four attempts. North Greenville did lead the day with eighteen second chance points and twenty-eight points in the paint. However, NGU trailed by a large margin in points off turnovers 15-2. The loss drops North Greenville to 8-12 for the season with a 4-7 record in conference play.

Michael Wilson, Jr. posted a double-double with eighteen points and eleven rebounds while also providing an assist, a block, and a steal. Jacob Brown also recorded a double-double with twelve points and ten rebounds as well as two steals. CaDarrius Sowell finished with eight points, six rebounds, and an assist.

NGU will return to action on Tuesday, January 28th against the Tornado of King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
