Charleston – North Greenville's trip to Charleston to play Division I Citadel resulted in the second loss of the season for the Trailblazers who fell 54 – 0 to the Bulldogs.
North Greenville trailed by a touchdown after one quarter. The Bulldogs scored the first points of the game with a touchdown at the eight minute mark of the opening frame. NGU responded with a drive that lasted about six minutes but came up empty after a missed 22 – yard field goal left the Trailblazers scoreless.
The game remained close until midway through the second quarter. The Bulldogs tacked on 20 – points in the final 10 – minutes including a pair of touchdowns in the final two – minutes to make it 27 – 0 at halftime.
North Greenville's offense struggled to get much going in the second half as the Bulldog defense kept the Trailblazers off of the scoreboard. NGU finished with just 229 – yards of total offense on Saturday compared to the Citadel which finished with 222 – yards rushing and another 129 – yards through the air.
The Bulldogs tacked on 14 – points in the third quarter and 13 – more points in the fourth. They finished with 346 – yards of total offense.
Jacob Walker led North Greenville on the ground with 69 – yards followed by
Dylan Ramirez who finished with 55 – yards on 13 carries. Ramirez had 73 – yards passing on seven completions.
Sam Washam had 19 – yards on two receptions.
Cameron Walker finished with 24 – yards on one catch.

Gavin Edwards led NGU with six tackles each
