The North Greenville Crusaders survived a second half surge by the Barton College Bulldogs to win with a final score of 12-9 in Wilson, North Carolina. NGU dominated the first half, scoring the first four goals of the game and going on to take a 9-2 lead going into halftime. The 2nd half told a different story, however, as the Bulldogs were able to put together a comeback to cut the deficit down to two with just over three minutes remaining. The NGU defense stepped up from there as Barton was kept off the board for the remainder of the game while the Crusaders were able to score a game-sealing goal with just over a minute remaining to increase the lead to three. The two teams finished with nearly identical shots with NGU taking one more than Barton. However, the Crusaders made the most of their shots as they would finish with ten more shots on goal than the Bulldogs with twenty-eight.

Yates Miller led the way for NGU with 4 goals. Christian Cechini scored 2 goals as well as an assist and led North Greenville in total shots with 12. Cam Webb posted 2 goals and 2 ground balls.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, April 13th against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in Belmont, North Carolina.
