The North Greenville Crusaders wrapped up the 2023-24 season with a 79-75 loss to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College this evening in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Lees-McRae would spend the majority of the first half slowly pulling away and ultimately leading by ten at halftime. North Greenville began the second half with the momentum, scoring the first five points to cut the deficit to five. LMC would hang on to a manageable lead throughout the half, however, as NGU wasn't quite able to cut the deficit down to a single possession. A last second three pointer by
Caleb Williams would cut the final deficit down to four, but Lees-McRae would walk away with the win. The loss ends North Greenville season with an 11-18 overall record with a 4-14 record in conference play.
CaDarrius Sowell once again put together an impressive performance, scoring 23 points and providing 3 rebounds and an assist.
Caleb Williams was also impressive as he finished his NGU career with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists.
Max Topham recorded 11 points, a rebound, and an assist.
