Seth Broseman Wins 300th Career Face Off as Dominant Second Half Lifts NGU Over Chowan

The North Greenville Crusaders put together a dominant second half this afternoon in Murfreesboro, North Carolina to defeat the Hawks of Chowan University with a final score of 20-12. Chowan carried the momentum early on as a 1-0 lead by NGU was answered by a 4-0 run by CU. After a 3-1 run by NGU, the Hawks responded again with three consecutive goals to take an 8-4 lead. North Greenville was able to get some momentum going to close out the half, scoring the final two goals to trail by just two at halftime. The 3rd and 4th quarters completely belonged to North Greenville, outscoring the Hawks 14-4 to ultimately leave Murfreesboro with an eight point victory. NGU dominated the afternoon in total shots 69-25 as well as ground balls 63-31.

Seth Broseman recorded his 300th career face off win, and finished the game winning 12 of 17. Cam Webb put together a solid afternoon, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 ground balls and a caused turnover. Connor Brewington also scored 4 goals and also recorded 2 ground balls.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, March 30th against the Mount Olive Trojans at Pepsi Stadium.
