Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders held a big lead on a rainy evening at Pepsi Stadium but ultimately fell to the Bearcats of Lander University with a final score of 16-14. NGU dominated the game early on, scoring eight of the first nine goals of the game. However, Lander would close out the half with six of the last seven goals as the two teams would go into halftime with a score of 9-7 in favor of North Greenville. Lander would continue to carry the momentum by scoring the first two goals of the third quarter to tie the game up at 9-9. From there, the Crusaders would take back the momentum with five of the next seven goals to lead by three. The Bearcats would dominate the final ten minutes of the game, scoring the final five goals to escape Tigerville with a win by two goals.
