Box Score Tigerville – North Greenville jumped out to a two-touchdown lead but the #3 Valdosta State Blazers held NGU scoreless in the second half, escaping 32 – 24 win over the Trailblazers.
North Greenville's defense forced a turnover on downs on VSU's game opening drive. The offense capitalized quickly, covering 69 – yards on just four plays.

Jacob Walker added NGU's only rushing score of the day when he broke away from 65 – yards out. His score made it 21 – 9 after VSU picked up a safety followed by its first touchdown of the game.
Brandon Bowman added a field goal for North Greenville before halftime to extend NGU's lead to 24 – 16, answering Valdosta's second touchdown of the day the drive prior.
North Greenville had just 81 – yards of offense in the second half. Valdosta State had its best half, totaling 184 – yards while outscoring NGU 16 – 0 over the final two quarters.
North Greenville finished with 326 – yards of total offense on Saturday, most coming in the second half. Ramirez threw for 212 – yards and pair of touchdowns. Washam ld all receivers with 67 – yards and a touchdown.
Jacob Walker was NGU's leading rusher with 97 – yards and a touchdown.
Warren Coneway led North Greenville's defense with 10 – tackles and a half a tackle for a loss.
