Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders lost in conference play to the Converse University Valkyries, 5-1. The Crusaders were unable to find their footing in this matchup, allowing fifteen shots, eight of which were on-goal, to just six shots with three on-goal in return. NGU was able to keep it close early holding the Valkyrie lead to one in the first half, but the Valkyries found a second wind and managed to score three of their five goals in the second. 

Forward Cameron Fowler was the Crusaders' lone goal-scorer on a Jacob Marino assist. Forwards Renan Macuglia and Ethan Thompson also managed a shot on-goal each.

North Greenville will head to Young Harris, Georgia to take on the Young Harris College Mountain Lions at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, September 27th.
