Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders defeat the Southern Wesleyan Warriors, 1-0. NGU's offense applied pressure early as they were able to find holes in the Warriors' defense and take advantage. The Warriors kept it close in the first half, but the Crusaders came out firing in the second as they found the back of the net early. North Greenville survived a late flurry in the second half by SWU's offense and took the victory over the Warriors. North Greenville led Southern Wesleyan in shots, twenty-one to eight, and shots on-goal, eleven to four. The win moves NGU's record to 3-3 in conference play and 3-7 overall.

Midfielder Leo Vasconcelos was North Greenville's lone goal-scorer, which was assisted by forward Kalvin Semedo. Forward Ryan Macuglia also performed well as he recorded four shots in the game, three being on-goal. Goalkeeper Michel Weber kept everything in front of him as he recorded four saves on eight shots-faced.

North Greenville will return to Pepsi Stadium on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:30 pm when they face the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College.
