Carrollton, GA – North Greenville's final road trip of the season resulted in a loss on Saturday with West Georgia earning the 38 – 14 decision over the Crusaders.
The Wolves scored 28 – points unanswered to start the game, scoring 14 in each of the first and second quarters. West Georgia scored touchdowns on each of its first four drives, one of which started after a North Greenville turnover.
North Greenville got its first points of the game in third quarter on the strength of the run game.
Corey Watkins capped a 74 – yard drive with a two yard touchdown, his sixth score of the season. Watkins would add NGU's second touchdown of the day in the fourth quarter on another two-yard run.
Watkins led North Greenville's offense with 101 – yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns. Dre Williams led all receivers with 74 – yards on six receptions.
Deandre Moss led NGU defenders with six total tackles.
Zach Jordan had NGU's only QB sack.
