North Greenville took care of business tonight in Central, South Carolina as the Crusaders swept the Southern Wesleyan Warriors 3-0. Although NGU trailed for the night in blocks, they would thoroughly dominate all other categories including posting six service aces while allowing just one. A competitive opening set began with a small lead by SWU, but a late run by North Greenville evened things up and ultimately forced extra points. North Greenville would end the set with a 5-2 run to take the set 30-28. Southern Wesleyan took the first two points in set two, but NGU would take over and completely dominate the remained of the set, going on to win it 25-13. After the Warriors took the opening point to start set three, North Greenville would once again take over by scoring the next seven points. NGU once again dominated the set, winning it 25-10.

Abigail Durham posted a dominating performance, finishing with 26 kills, 14 digs, 2 service aces, a block assists, and an assist. Kelli Davis finished with 8 kills, 9 digs, and a block assist. Gabby Rice finished with 7 kills, 2 digs, a block assist, and an assist.

North Greenville will return to action on Saturday, October 21st against the Erskine Flying Fleet in Due West, South Carolina.
