The North Greenville Crusaders fell in one-sided fashion to the Hawks of Chowan University with a final score of 5-1 in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Chowan scored the only two goals of the first half in the 6th and 29th minutes to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. NGU was able to find the back of the net when
Leo Vasconcelos scored on a penalty kick just two minutes into the second half. However, that would be the only goal for the Crusaders as the Hawks would respond with three goals throughout the remainder of the second half. Chowan ended the match with 21 shots while North Greenville was limited to a total of 9.
