Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders started off a busy week with an 80-64 loss to the Hawks of Chowan University this evening at Hayes Gymnasium. Both teams finished with nearly identical field goal percentages, with Chowan narrowly leading with a .367 percent. However, the Crusaders vastly struggled from three point range, making four of just twenty-one. Chowan was able to distance themselves thanks to second chance points as well as points off turnovers.
Key Stat: Points off Turnovers - The Hawks were able to capitalize off of NGU's sixteen turnovers with twenty-three points off turnovers. North Greenville forced nine turnovers but was able to turn them into just seven points.
