The matchup featured fifteen lead changes and ended with both teams shooting over 50% from the field. Trailing by four at halftime, the Crusaders matched Emmanuel's point production in the second half and shot a staggering .708 from the field, but it was not enough to close up the gap as the Lions also shot well in the half and went a perfect 12-12 from the free throw line to hold on to their four point lead.
