Bristol TN – North Greenville women's golf set and then broke the program's scoring record this week in their season opening tournament, finishing second at the King Invitational with a total score of 634.
The Crusaders shot a 319 on Monday to set the new program record and followed it up on Monday with a new team best, shaving three strokes to shoot a 315.
Nicole Kramer impressed in her first collegiate tournament shooting a 152 for the tournament. She shot a 78 and a 74 which finished her fourth overall for the tournament.
Anna Schweitzer accounted for NGU's other top-10 finish with a total score of 158. Schweitzer shot a 78 and an 80, finishing 9
th overall.
Brenna Miller finished the tournament tied for 13
th with a total of 160. She shot a 77 and an 83 over two days. Tellie McCoy improved six strokes from round one to round two, shooting an 86 followed by an 80. She finished 26
th.
Kaitlyn Hagler was the biggest mover for North Greenville. Hagler shot a 90 in round one but trimmed nine-strokes from her total to shoot an 81 in round two.
