The North Greenville Crusaders dropped a pair of matches in day one of the 2022 Pacer Invitational in Aiken, South Carolina, starting with a 3-1 loss to the Jaguars of Augusta University followed by a 3-2 loss to the Bearcats of Lander University. North Greenville fell behind by just two points in the first two sets of the opening match. NGU would bounce back by taking set three of the match 25-22, but would fall short in set four to fall to the Jaguars. The Crusaders did lead the match in blocks 8-4, assists 50-48, and digs 98-93 but were outscored in points 65-61 and kills 55-51. Match two began with North Greenville taking the opening set against Lander 25-22. However, the Bearcats would be the ones to bounce back by taking sets two and three. The Crusaders would then recover to win set four to force a fifth set, but Lander would ultimately take the deciding set for the win. The Crusaders led in aces 9-5 and tied the Bearcats in digs 93-93.

• Kelli Davis had a solid day, hitting double digit kills in both matches for a day total of 30. She also put up thirteen digs, three block assists, and an assist.
• Emilie Allen finished the day with twenty kills, ten digs, three total blocks, and an assist.
• Ashlyn Conner posted ninety-three assists, twenty-six digs, and a service ace for the day.
