Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders opened up conference play with a domating performance against the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College, ending in a final score of 19-8 earlier tonight at Pepsi Stadium. After Lees-McRae scored the opening goal, the Crusaders responded by scoring twelve consecutive goals throughout the 1st and 2nd quarters, outscoring the Bobcats 6-1 in both. The 3rd quarter would see the exact same result, the Crusaders leading the quarter 6-1 to jump out to an 18-3 lead. Lees-McRae was able to cut into the deficit in the 4th, scoring five straight, but NGU would take the final score to ultimately win by eleven. Four Crusaders saw time at goalie, with
Joe Amici getting the win. Faceoffs were steadily led by North Greenville, winning thwenty-three of the thirty-one faceoffs.
