North Greenville suffered a tough 77-74 loss to the Hawks of Chowan University earlier tonight in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. The Crusaders found themselves in good shape midway through the second half, leading by eleven with less than eight minutes remaining. However, the Hawks would end the game on a 15-3 run to jump ahead in the final minute. Both teams shot well throughout the game, finishing over the 50% mark in field goal percentage. The Hawks capitalized off of NGU's mistakes, scoring 23 points off turnovers. NGU posted an impressive .643 three point field goal percentage in the 1st half, but struggled from the arc in the 2nd, making just one out of six attempts.
