Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put up a solid fight against the Emmanuel Lions, who are currently 2nd in the Conference Carolinas standings, but ultimately fell short with a final score of 73-68 earlier tonight at Hayes Gymnasium. In a competitive game, the two teams put together nearly identical field goal percentages as well as three point field goal percentages. Turnovers again proved to be costly for NGU as the Crusaders committed a total of twenty turnovers compared to Emmanuel's twelve. Although North Greenville outscored the Lions in points off turnovers 18-14, second chance points ended up making the difference as the Lions led the category 14-7.
