Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders began the 2022-23 season with a tough loss to the Bobcats of Georgia College with a final score of 85-78 this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU trailed by seven at the half, and although they would match Georgie College in the second half with 47 points each, it would not be enough as the Bobcats would hang on for the victory. On a bright note, 
C.J. Jamison put together a career-high 33 points. The Crusaders shot a respectable 41.4% from the field, but a 49.2 shooting percentage as well as 20 points off turnovers allowed Georgia College to stay out in from thoughout the majority of the game.

	- C.J. Jamison reached a new career-high with a 33 point performance. He also posted six rebounds and five steals.
