After falling behind by nine points to end the first half, the North Greenville Crusaders made up the difference in the second half to force overtime. Two overtime periods would be required to settle the score, but Southern Wesleyan would ultimately end up with the win with a final score of 100-93 this afternoon in Central, South Carolina. Both teams put together impressive first half numbers, with the Crusaders shooting an even 50 percent from the field while the Warriors put up a .531 percentage. While NGU put up similar numbers (.463 percent) in the second half, SWU struggled from the three point line, which led to a .325 field goal percentage for the second half. The two teams went three for six in the first overtime period to force a second one. North Greenville was able to attempt more shots in the second overtime period, but the Warriors would make the most of their shots to go on to win by seven.
