NGU softball began its Conference Carolinas Tournament with a 14-0 victory against the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College this afternoon at Tyger River Park in Duncan, SC. North Greenville scored in all but one inning, and in the 6th they would put six runs on the board to blow the game open. Belmont Abbey was held to just three hits by Jaelin Griffin, who pitched a complete game shutout. Claire Gilmore went 5 for 5 at the plate including a triple.
