Tigerville, SC - NGU softball ended its regular season with 8-0 and 10-1 victories over the Valkyries of Converse College on Senior Day this afternoon at
Jan McDonald Field. North Greenville dominated the day, scoring a total of 18 runs while allowing just one. The Crusaders finished the regular season with a 25-13 overall record and 11-9 record in conference play.
Claire Gilmore posted three hits for the day including a home run.

- Elizabeth Engler took the mound to begin game one. The Crusaders would get her a quick 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI single by Claire Gilmore, a wild pitch that allowed Aschlyn Hutto to score, and a sacrifice fly by Taylor Koon. After Converse scored a run in the 2nd, NGU would respond with three more runs including an RBI single by Aschlyn Hutto and a 2-RBI single by Claire Gilmore. Scoreless 3rd and 4th innings were followed by a four-run 5th inning that included RBI singles by Jenna Hewes and Makayla Brackett as well as a walk-off 2-RBI single by Brooklyn Stone that would end the game due to the run rule. Engler was the winning pitcher, giving up just one earned run in four innings.
- Callie Richards was the starter for game two. The Crusaders would strike early with an RBI single by Josie Reed. Claire Gilmore would knock in two more runs by way of a two-run homer to center field. A single by Darbi Holmes would result in a fourth run in the inning scoring due to a throwing error. Two runs would follow in the bottom of the 2nd including an RBI fielder's choice by Claire Gilmore and an RBI single up the middle by Jenna Hewes. After scoreless 4th and 5th innings, NGU would finally drive in the final run with an RBI by Brianna McRae that would end the game due to the run rule. Jaelin Griffin, who pitched the final four innings, was the winning pitcher.

- Claire Gilmore posted 3 hits including a 2-run home run and collected 6 RBIs for the day.
- Josie Reed had a solid day, recording 4 hits including 2 doubles. She would go on to score 4 times and drove in a run.
- Callie Richards and Jaelin Griffin collectively allowed no runs and just 1 hit and 1 walk in game two.
