The 2020-21 NGU men's basketball season came to an end tonight in Franklin Springs, Georgia as the Crusaders fell to the Emmanuel Lions with a final score of 89-72. The first half proved to be devastating for North Greenville as the Lions would shoot a staggering 59.26% from the field to lead 51-26 at halftime. NGU put up a fight in the 2nd half and outscored Emmanuel 46-38, but it would not be enough to recover from the first half deficit. With the loss, the Crusaders end the season with a 10-7 record, the program's first winning record since the 2014-15 season.
C.J. Jamison ended his sophomore season on a high note, scoring 23 points.

- The first half began as a struggle for the Crusaders, allowing the Lions to jump way out to a 16-2 lead including eleven points in a row. A three pointer by Jacob Redding would finally stop the bleeding. North Greenville's deficit would remain around the same for the majority of the half, but a late 9-2 run by the Lions would give them a 25 point lead at halftime.Â
- Emmanuel would open up the 2nd half with a three pointer to lead by 28, the largest of the game. From there, the Crusaders would slowly cut into the deficit, eventually pulling back within 16. A bright spot for NGU in the 2nd half was twelve made free throws, but they would not be enough to overcome the deficit. C.J. Jamison ended the season with a three pointer, but Emmanuel would ultimately take the victory by a 17 point margin.
