Season Concludes as Crusaders Fall Short in Conference Carolinas Tournament

Box Score The 2021 North Greenville men's soccer season came to a close this afternoon in Mount Olive, North Carolina as the Crusaders fell 2-1 to the University of Mount Olive Trojans. Down 1-0, the Crusaders tied things up with a goal late in the first half. With less than a minute remaining in regulation, it seemed that overtime would be necessary to determine a winner. However, Mount Olive would score the game-winning goal in the final minute to avoid the upset. North Greenville finishes their season with the program's first winning record since 2009 as well as its first Conference Carolinas Tournament victory in program history.

The Crusaders would record a total of five shots for the half, with the fifth shot resulting in an equalizer by Gareth Greene with less than five minutes remaining in the opening half.
