How it Happened

• Queens struck first, taking a North Greenville turnover the distance to make it 1 - 0 with 9:58 on the first quarter clock.
• The Crusaders got a quick response from Logan Bryan who won the midfield faceoff and scored to even the tally at 1 - 1.
• Chris Carpenter took a pass from Austin Dixon to the net to make it 2 - 1 while Blake Thomas made it a two-goal lead with an unassisted score at the 5:07 mark.
• The Royals capitalized on a man-up opportunity to cut the lead to one point for North Greenville but the Crusaders once again answered as Hunter Burgett made it 4 - 2 with a goal leaving two seconds left in the quarter.
• The Royals scored once more in the first half compared to two more goals for North Greenville to make it 6 - 3 at the half.
• North Greenville's offense lacked production in the third period as the Royals evened the score at 6 - 6, holding the Crusaders scoreless.
• Alex Proly broke the scoreless streak in the fourth quarter on a one-timer that made it 7-6 with 14:49 left in the contest.
• The Royals proved too much, in the end, forcing seven turnovers for the Crusaders in the second half. Three of those turnovers occurred in the fourth quarter leading to a pair of unanswered scores for the Royals which put them over the top.
• North Greenville earned the final possession of the game but was unable to get a shot off as the clock expired.
