Box Score North Greenville put up a strong second half, but ultimately fell short against the Lees-McRae Bobcats with a final score of 81-78. NGU shot well with a 46.0 field goal percentage, but 15 turnovers in the 1st half proved costly. Roderick Howell posted a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds while Ryan Mobley impressed with a 21-point performance.
1st Half
Lees-McRae was able to get off to a strong start with a 10-1 run. NGU would trail by as much as 22 before going on a 15-0 run to cut the deficit to seven points. Caleb Arrington closed out the first half with a three-pointer to make the halftime score 41-33 in favor of the Bobcats. North Greenville shot an even 50.0% from the field. Daniel Burchette led in points with seven.
2nd Half
North Greenville responded well in the half. Down 56-49, a 10-2 run by NGU gave them their first lead of the game. However, that lead would not last long as the Bobcats would fight back with a 10-0 run to lead by eight. The Crusaders responded once again to eventually tie the game. Neither team could then pull away from one another. Tied at 78-78, a three-pointer gave Lees-McRae the lead back with just 16 seconds remaining. The Crusaders we able to get a final shot off, but was not able to score. NGU shot 43.2% in the half. Ryan Mobley had a strong half with 17 points.

Roderick Howell posted a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. He also recorded a steal and a block.
