Box Score Tigerville - A 42.3 field goal percentage was not enough as the Crusaders fell to the Emmanuel Lions 76-63. NGU trailed by ten points at the half which proved to be too much to recover from. Daniel Burchette had a strong game with 23 points.
1st Half
The first ten minutes of the game saw a close battle between the two teams. Tied at 16-16 with 9:56 left in the half, Emmanuel put together a 12-4 run to lead 28-20. They would ultimately take a ten point lead into the half with a score of 39-29. Both teams shot 41.7% for the half. Daniel Burchette led the Crusaders with 11 points.
2nd Half
NGU scored five of the first nine points to begin the second half, but Emmanuel would then open up a 51-36 lead thanks to an 8-0 run. From there, North Greenville fought to get back in the game by putting together an 11-3 run, but the Lions would then pull away once again to take the 76-63 win. The Crusaders shot 42.9% from the field in the second half. Burchette lead once again with 12 points.
Individual
Daniel Burchette had his best offensive performance of the season with 23 points. He also recorded 3 rebounds and 2 steals.
Kovi Tate had yet another strong game with 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Daniko Jackson put up 8 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds.
