Box Score Charlotte, NC – The North Greenville University men’s basketball team evened its regular season record with a 79-42 victory over Johnson & Wales University on Thursday night.
The Crusaders offense was firing on all cylinders throughout the entire game, while the North Greenville defense stifled the Wildcats early on.
Chris Dean recorded a team-high 25 points with seven rebounds, while Jamaal Pryor picked up his second double-double of the season with 13 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
Jonathan Bozymowski broke out of a recent slump with nine points, while reserves Blake Ferguson and Wesley Armbrust each recorded career-highs with eight and seven points respectively.
“We were very active on the defensive end tonight,” said head coach Chad Lister. “Our effort has been good recently and this was a much-needed win.”
The Crusaders (12-12, 5-10 in Conference Carolinas) will play their final Conference Carolinas contest of the regular season with a road game against Lees-McRae College on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The matchup in Banner Elk, NC is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
