Winston Salem, N.C. – The 2026 track season kicked off on Saturday for North Greenville at the Mondo College Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston Salem.
For the men,
Taylor Campbell topped all finishers with a fifth-place finish in the men's weight throw. Campbell hit a distance of 16.7 meters. In the Shotput,
AJ Nash finished 10
th with a distance of 12.83 – meters while
Bryce Hamby finished eight in the pole vault with a height of 4.15 meters.
In track events,
Kaleb Stephens-Neal clocked the best finish for the Trailblazers with a 9
th place finish in the 200 meter with a 22.99. Neal also added a 14
th place finish in the 60 meter with a time of 6.97. In the 800 meter, Josiah Aniston finished with a time of 2:00 to finish 16
th.
Kathleen Dombroski registered the best finish among all runners today with a fourth place finish. Dombroski finished with a time of 25.34. She finished her afternoon with a fifth place finish in the 400 with a time of 58.06.
Ellie Timmons finished 11
th one – mile race as she finished in 5:17. In the 60 – meter, Bre'Asia Robinson finished 13
th with a time of 7.83. Riley Shoppe finished 15
th in the 3,000 Meter.
Ella Davidson held it down for NGU in the field events, finishing 11
th in the weight throw with a distance of 12.45 – meters. Davidson finished with a 27
th place finish in the shotput with a distance of 9.42 meters.
