Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers officially entered the win column for the first time in the 2025 season with a 3-1 victory over the Catawba Indians at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU dominated the opening set, going on to win it 25-14. Service errors proved to be costly in set two as Catawba would come out on top with a score of 25-23. The Trailblazers rebounded in set three to narrowly take it 25-23 before once again putting together a dominant set to close things out, winning set four 25-14. North Greenville dominated the night in blocks 10-4 while also leading in kills, service aces, assists, and digs.
Logan Keothavy put together an impressive performance, finishing with sixteen kills, eight digs, two block assists, and an assist.
Michael de la Cruz also impressed with twelve kills, three solo blocks, three block assists, three service aces, and a dig.
Logan Taylor provided forty-two assists, four digs, and two service aces.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, January 28th against the Pioneers of Tusculum University at Hayes Gymnasium.
