Katie Crim Notches First Win as Head Coach in Victory Over King

Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers were able to get into the win column after defeating the Tornado of King University with a final score of 1-0 this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. Head Coach Katie Crim recorded her first win as head coach of the program. NGU and King went scoreless in the first half, but the Trailblazers would get on the board very late when a cross by Aleisha Lamb bounced off a King defender and went into the net with just over a minute remaining in the match. North Greenville dominated the afternoon in shots, leading the category 25-9 with nine shots on goal. The victory improved North Greenville's record to 1-3-1 with a 1-1-0 record in conference play.

Aleisha Lamb recorded three shots with two on goal. She was credited with the goal. Marli Cevallos posted eight shots with one on goal. Haleigh Holland provided four saves at goalkeeper.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, September 21st against the Lees-McRae Bobcats at Pepsi Stadium.
