Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium with a final score of 1-0. Lees-McRae dominated the first half in shots 11-1, but the NGU defense was able to keep the Bobcats off the board as the two teams went into halftime with a scoreless tie. Less than two minutes into the second half, LMC was able to get on the board with a deep shot from outside the box to put Lees-McRae on the board. NGU was able to post four shots in the half, but was unable to even up the score. Lees-McRae led the match in total shots 17-5.
Aleisha Lamb posted three shots including NGU's only shot on goal.
Haleigh Holland provided three saves at goalkeeper.
NGU will return to action on Tuesday, September 24th against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in Belmont, North Carolina.
