Tigerville, SC - In a must-win match at Pepsi Stadium, the North Greenville Trailblazers claimed a 2-0 win against the Converse Valkyries to claim the #8 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. The final match of the season resulted in the Trailblazers improving their overall record to 2-9-5, with a conference record of 2-7-3.
The first half concluded with North Greenville ahead, thanks to a goal by
Holly Lanter at 37 minutes, assisted by
Aleisha Lamb. NGU would hang on to that lead and would go into halftime with a 1-0 lead. North Greenville was able to clinch the game in the 84th minute when
Valerie Hernandez, seizing an opportunity assisted by
Jordyn Lamb, scored her second goal of the season in the 85th minute, solidifying North Greenville's lead to 2-0.

Haleigh Holland were pivotal in securing a shutout for North Greenville, recording a total of three saves throughout the game.
The Trailblazers are scheduled to face the Converse Valkyries once again on November 7 in Spartanburg, SC in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament.
