North Greenville Falls to Belmont Abbey

In a conference soccer matchup at Pepsi Stadium, North Greenville University's Trailblazers faced a tough defeat against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders, concluding the game with a final score of 4-1.

Belmont Abbey's Reagan Cullen scored the first and eventual game-winning goal, setting the tone for the rest of the contest. By halftime, Belmont Abbey led 1-0, a margin that only widened in the second half. North Greenville's goalkeeper duo, Holland Haleigh and Rickle Anna, faced a relentless Belmont Abbey offense, which saw goals from not only Cullen but also Anna Richard, Gabriela Enciso, and Lourdes Tompkins. The lone bright spot for North Greenville came late in the game at 80:06 when Aubrey Kramer, with assistance from Holly Lanter, managed to net a goal. Belmont Abbey dominated the game overall offensively, finishing with a 22-3 lead in total shots.
