The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the 11th ranked Indians of Catawba College with a final score of 4-0 in Salisbury, North Carolina. It was a forgettable night for the Crusaders, who managed just four shots without a single one on goal. CAT led just 1-0 at the half but turned the offense up in the second, scoring three goals and finishing the match with a total of 32 shots, 13 of them on goal. NGU did lead the night in saves, recording a total of nine with seven of them coming in the second half.
Haleigh Holland did have an impressive night at goalkeeper, posting nine saves.
Krysa Gordon recorded half of North Greenville's four shots.
Isabella Gyurich and
Jada Patrick put up a shot each.
NGU will face the Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia in the first home match of the season on Wednesday, September 13th.
