The North Greenville Crusaders fell short in their home-opener to the North Georgia Nighthawks. The Crusaders were able to keep it close in the first half, holding the Nighthawk offense to just one goal on eight shots but had trouble getting past a quick North Georgia defense. The Crusaders offensive struggle continued through the second half as they were only able to manage one shot compared to North Georgia's eight. The final score was 3-0 Nighthawks, and the Crusaders fall to 0-3-0 on the season before entering conference play.
