The North Greenville Crusaders improved to 6-1 for the season with a 74-68 win over the Eagles of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. A strong first half for NGU proved to be enough for the Crusaders to hang on for the victory. North Greenville led 41-27 at halftime, and although the Eagles would outscore the Crusaders in the third and fourth quarters, NGU was able to hang on for a six point win. Four Crusaders hit double figures in points and the team finished with a .565 field goal percentage.
Geassy Germano played every minute and finished with 16 points as well as 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block.
Greyson Boone was perfect from the field, making all 5 of her shots with 4 of them from three point range. She posted 18 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist.
Abi Oates was also strong, finishing with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.
NGU will return to action on Saturday, December 2nd to take on the Erskine Flying Fleet at Hayes Gymnasium.
