The North Greenville Crusaders fell for the first time this season to the Jaguars of Augusta University with a final score of 59-55 this afternoon in Newberry, South Carolina. Offensive rebounds told the story as NGU was outdone in the category 23-5. Although the Jaguars were not able to fully capitalize on the number of offensive rebounds, they did finish the game leading in second chance points 14-7. North Greenville finished with a .422 field goal percentage along with a nearly identical three-point percentage of .421. The Crusaders were also highly successful from the free throw line, where they went 9-10.
Greyson Boone finished with 12 points along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Geassy Germano put together another strong performance, recording 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 assists.
Tabitha Littlefield posted 11 points, 2 rebounds, a block, and a steal.
North Greenville will return to action on Tuesday, November 14th against the Bruins of Bob Jones University in Tigerville.
