Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a dominant performance over the Bruins of Bob Jones University with a final score of 85-49 at Hayes Gymnasium for the first time this season. NGU led by four at the end of the first quarter then continued to run away with things in the second to take a 38-26 lead into halftime. The second half would see the Crusaders take over on the offensive side of the ball, posting a .625 field goal percentage in the third quarter and a .769 percentage in the fourth to outscore the Bruins in the half 47-23 to ultimately finish the game with a 36 point victory. North Greenville finished the game with a .550 field goal percentage while holding Bob Jones to a .304 percentage. NGU dominated the evening in fast break points 17-0.
Austin Johnson put together a solid night with 14 points, 3 assists, a block, and a steal. Kenedi McLean recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds, and a block.
Geassy Germano scored 8 points while also providing 5 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
North Greenville will head to Orangeburg, South Carolina on Saturday, November 18th to take on the Panthers of Claflin University.
