North Greenville Shuts Out Chowan to Remain Undefeated in Conference Play

Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders improved their conference record to 3-0 with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks of Chowan University this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. North Greenville dominated the opening half in shots 10-2. It would take a close free kick by Aubrey Kramer to get the Crusaders on the board in the first half, her first collegiate goal. Both teams would record seven shots each in the second half, but NGU would be the only team to find the back of the net in the half when Julia Hayes scored her first goal as a Crusader. With the win, North Greenville improves to 3-0 in conference play, which currently ties them with UNC Pembroke for 1st place in the Conference Carolinas standings.
