2nd Half Struggles Plague Crusaders in Loss to UNC Pembroke

North Greenville wrapped up the regular season with a 68-41 loss to the Braves of UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, North Carolina. The Crusaders held a two point lead at the end of the 1st quarter, but were outscored by nine in the 2nd quarter to trail 32-25 at halftime. From there, NGU would convert just six field goals in the 2nd half as UNC Pembroke would continue to pull away, going on to win by twenty-seven. With the regular season complete, NGU head into the Conference Carolinas Tournament as the #10 seed.
