The 2021-22 women's basketball season came to an end as the Crusaders fell in the opening round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament to the Francis Marion Patriots with a final score of 76-63 in Bristol, Tennessee. NGU led 15-12 at the end of the 1st quarter but a big 2nd quarter by the Patriots would give them a 44-35 lead at halftime. North Greenville would struggle throughout the 3rd quarter, shooting just .235 from the field while FMU would pull away further to lead by twenty-three. The Patriots would struggle in the 4th, allowing the Crusaders to cut into the deficit, but it would not be enough as Francis Marion would advance. With the loss, North Greenville wraps up the season with an 8-20 overall record with an 8-15 conference record.
