The North Greenville Crusaders will play in the Conference Carolinas Tournament championship for the second time in three years, and will face the Braves of UNC Pembroke this afternoon at Macpherson Stadium at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina. NGU entered the tournament as the #1 overall seed after finishing the regular season with a 12-3-1 record with a 11-1-0 record in conference play. The Braves began the tournament as the #3 seed, finishing the regular season with a 14-2-1 overall record and a 10-1-1 conference record. The two programs faced each other in the regular season, with UNC Pembroke taking the 1-0 victory at Pepsi Stadium

Romee Contreras leads the way with a conference-leading thirteen goals scored for the season.
Alexah Fite is NGU's second leading goal-scorer with five for the season.
Samantha Montgomery has played all but two hours at goalkeeper, averaging just 0.96 goals per match. She also leads the conference in total shutouts with seven.
The Braves have maintained a strong offensive duo with Anna Grossheim and Ashleigh Harris. Grossheim leads UNCP and sits second in the conference with twelve goals for the season. Ashleigh Harris is second on the team with ten goals, which is currently fourth in conference. UNC Pembroke is looking to complete a historic year defensively as goalkeeper Chiara Chopin averages 0.64 goals allowed per match. As a team, the Braves have allowed just over half a goal per match.
