Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Conference Carolinas-leading Mount Olive Trojans with a final score of 79-54 this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU was able to get off to a strong start by scoring the first five points of the game. North Greenville held on to the lead for the majority of the first quarter and early on in the second. However, the Trojans would take the lead just less than three minutes into the second quarter and pull away for good. The Crusaders shot 31.4% from the field with a 28.6 three point field goal percentage. After struggling in the first quarter, UMO recovered to record a 42.3 field goal percentage. Fast break points and points in the paint told the story as Mount Olive distanced themselves in both categories.

• Jykya Bell led NGU in points with seventeen and tied for the team lead with six rebounds. She also recorded two blocks, an assist, and a steal.
• Haylee Luttrell made her return with a sixteen point performance along with six rebounds, a block, and a steal.
• Abi Oates also hit double digit points with ten. She also posted three rebounds.
